An Hour of OT

Charlotte has some sensory integration issues. Basically what means is that she has a little bit of trouble processing sensory input. Not all the time, not severely, but she does have some challenges with it. It could be the reason she has a language delay. I don't know. I do know that since she's been in OT her language has taken off and she's doing awesome. She was progressing before, but since she's been in OT she's made significant progress. Her therapist is Tara and Tara has a student working with her, Kristen. Kristen is pictured below with Charlotte. It's been great having two therapists. Tara is awesome and she really puts a lot of her heart into working with Charlotte. And Kristen is really connecting with her too.

This first series of pictures is her climbing the rope ladder and then she "jumps" off and crashes into the pillows. She loves this and asks to do it several times.
