Somebody Got a Haircut

Sometimes spontaneity is the way to go.

I took Charlotte to her first art class for kids with SPD today. It was quite fun and interesting. Then we played at the play center where the art class is. Then somehow I threw out the idea of her getting her hair cut and she didn't say no. That in and of itself is progress. So we went to a different kids haircut place (thought maybe NOT going to the same one would make a difference). Lucklily we were the only ones there when we came in. After going down the slide 3 or 4 times, and telling Grandma Linda several times that she should get HER hair cut, she finally said okay. And that was that. She was awesome. Didn't even flinch. Nothing. Just admired herself in the mirror.

About 3 inches was taken off the back and just a little tiny trim of the bangs to get the split ends off.

Forgive the somewhat messiness - we got caught in the rain a little later.

I think she looks adorable. And her hair looks much healthier!
