When asked what kind of garden, she goes back and forth between vegetable and flowers. I haven't planted anything in our yard this year (this is a clean up year for us), but since she asked (and I'll shamelessly do just anything my girls want) ... we three trekked up to the Big Orange Box this morning to plant a few containers with flowers. I let them pick out the flowers.
To say that they were more interested in playing with the dirt than planting flowers would be an understatement.
Sarah was really into that little shovel.
Watering is fun too. Especially when your watering can is an elephant. For fairness sake, they each have their own. And they each have their own flower pot now too.
Next year I'm going to attempt my first ever vegetable garden. Hopefully I'll have a couple of willing helpers.
