Hayride and Pumpkin Patch

Last week my me, my Mom, Sarah and Charlotte went with some of the kids from Charlotte's class, and her teacher, to a pumpkin farm for a hayride. It was a really nice place. A lot nicer than some of the other places we've been to in years past.

Of course we begin the with requisite pumpkin posing.

Then there were the chicken coops. Several. Each had a rooster in it. These roosters were very, very chatty with one another. Cockadoodledooooooo!

There were some pretty neat wooden play structures, like this bus. There was also a boat, a train, a castle, an old-fashioned truck. Really fun and different stuff.

Awww!

Check out my gourds, man...

Time for the hayride. One simply must throw hay on a hayride.

There's us!

There's Grandma!

Time to pick a pumpkin! Charlotte had to be redirected a million and one times to find her pumpkin. She was far more interested in the tractor wheels and heading over to the corn to pick corn.

Sarah found herself a cute little pumpkin right away. No! That's MY pumpkin!!

A photo op!

The way this turned out just made me laugh.
